How to get the most out of your ceramic coating?
So you just got your vehicle protected with a ceramic coating, now how do you get the most out of it?
Its a common misconception that ceramic coatings do not need to be washed once applied. its the complete opposite.
Ceramic coating is a sacrificial layer above your clear coat. over time that layer can get clogged from dirt and road film which may make it seem like the coating wore off or is dead. A proper maintenance wash will clean the coating and revive its dirt repelling and hydrophobic properties.
Here are some things to AVOID with a ceramic coating.
- CAR WASH TUNNELS
- Dry wiping the paint
- Sprinklers
- letting water dry on paint if it can be helped
- using non PH neutral soaps
